Diocesan Planned Giving Staff
Jim Newman, CMA, O.N., Stewardship Consultant for the Diocese of Niagara provides Gift Planning assistance for parishes and individuals.
He is a graduate of the Canadian Association of Gift Planners comprehensive course "Canadian Gift Planning" and is a member of that association.
Jim’s professional background includes computer science, accounting, and post-secondary teaching. He has extensive experience as a parish planning consultant, parish warden, and chair of stewardship and capital campaigns
Jim works closely with Archdeacon John M. Robertson, National Gift Planning Consultant of the Anglican Church of Canada’s Department of Philanthropy, bringing together people with expertise from a wide range of ministries, church foundations and parishes, and supporting future mission and ministry that are in line with the Vision for Niagara.

Karen Nowicki is the Administrative Assistant to the Director of Stewardship and Financial Development, Carl Sneyd providing clerical and administrative support in the areas of diocesan capital campaigns, the Stewardship & Financial Development committee and programs. Karen is also the Administrative Assistant to the Director of Outreach and provides support to the Diocesan Outreach committee, Partners in Mission committee, Primate's World Relief and Development committee and the Diocesan Refugee Working Group. As the Administrative Assistant to the Secretary of Synod, Karen also works closely with The Reverend Dr. Rick Jones, Secretary of Synod. She is staff support to the Bishop's Advisory Committee on Church Buildings and is the Registrar to the Bishop's Company.
